What is Socialized Boarding and Daycare?

Socialized care is a fun interactive environment for well behaved dogs to spend the day playing with one another.  In my home they get to feel like they are at home instead of in a steril caged environment. Today, socialized boarding offers dogs the feeling of being “one of the pack” allows them to snuggle, co-sleep and mix with the other dogs. (Of course if your dog enjoys sleeping in their crate we will honor your wishes.) Basically, socialized boarding gives them the feeling that they are still at home but they have friends to play with.

Sue’s Critter Camp is a fully insured and licensed professional boarding company. She offer’s small dog daycare and boarding in her home.

Sue Schutz has been a certified professional pet sitter and providing socialized boarding in her home since 2008 and has a lifetime of experience as a pet owner. As a mother of two, a menagerie of pets have lived in her home over the years, including dogs, hermit crabs, cats, birds, and hamsters. Currently, she has three cats, a Golden-Doodle, a miniature poodle and daily sits that she loves as if they truly were her own.  Some of these daily visits have been ongoing for over 7 years.

Which Dogs are right for Socialized Boarding ?

We require all dogs who want to play/stay at The Dog Biscuit Inn to come in for a free personality assessment.  If your pet is friendly and enjoys playing nicely with others they will be able to join the fun. If your dog is shy and hasn’t been around other dogs we are more than willing to work with them on socialization skills. Overly aggressive dogs will not be good candidates for socialized play or boarding.  For the health and safety of all our fur clients we require proof of current vaccinations.
